• Upholstered seating test to DIN EN 1021-1/2,California TB117, to BS 5852-2
• Mattress test, eg to DIN EN597-1/2, ISO8191-1/2

Track vehicles (test station recognised by Federal Ministry of Railways)
• Fire test on rail seating DIN 66084
• Fire test on underground, suburban rail and tramway seating
• Fire test to DIN 5510-2, Class S1-S5
• Test on railway seating to UIC code 564-2

Air transport (test station recognised by Federal Ministry of Air Transport)
• Fire test on airline seating to FAR 25.853
• Smoke density and toxicity of interior coverings to FAR 25.853 and ABD 0031
• Heat release (OSU-chamber) to FAR 25.853

Further areas include: tests on building components and materials, electrical appliances, powered vehicles and special tests. As well as the required laboratories we have two large technical areas for fire testing and a purification installation for smoke fumes.
